Life

Robbo invited us over to stay in their Islington palace for the week. It has just been entirely renovated and it’s slightly depressing how good it is. I feel like after our place is done we’ll feel like it’s a pound shop version of hers. Nevertheless it was excellent staying there and our kids bollocked about with hers non-stop.

We were back in Higham’s Park for the weekend which was another crash back to earth.

Σσ went to a wedding in Essex on Saturday and I tried desperately to keep the kids entertained in the rain.

Then on Sunday I went to Acton to pick up a cat that we’re going to try to rehome. I got him home and he was fairly timid but he got increasingly skittish as the day progressed and ended the day hissing at all of us and scratching Ηη on the foot, which ended predictably with extreme levels of hysteria. The poor creature is obviously pretty scared and confused – not sure how we’re going to keep the kids chill enough for him to calm down and get used to us.

Running

Got out for a bit of a spin on the local trails on Sunday. Left me feeling totally buggered.
